Blood and Water
Blood and Water is a 4-piece rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
The band started taking shape in the Summer of 2006, when the band released their first EP. After a few years of local shows, the band released their first LP independently. New release in hand, B&W started touring regionally, opening up for national acts like The Classic Crime, No Use For A Name, The Audition, Hawk Nelson, Lincoln Brewster, The Wedding, Showbread, and many more. The band also began playing CA-based festivals like Rock Of Ages, Joshuafest (drew 750 to the side stage), and the traveling fest, “Extreme Tour”. Singles from the first LP received some airplay on Live 105′s “Soundcheck”, Broken FM, and consistent rotation of their music video on Gospel Music Channel’s “Rock Block”.
Blood and Water recently finished up a 2nd LP with award-winning producer, Masaki Liu (Five Iron Frenzy, The W’s, Matisyahu). The album is called “In Character”, and is due to be released July 13th on the ever-supportive and hard working indie label, Eden Records.
With the release of “In Character”, a committed tour-schedule, and the promotional backing of Eden Records: it seems that Blood and Water is poised for a breakthrough.
